Construction of the new International Barley Hub and Advanced Plant Growth Centre is Underway
The Construction stage for the new International Barley Hub and Advanced Plant Growth Centre at The James Hutton Institute, Invergowrie is now underway. The £30m completed facility will be the centrepiece of The Tay Cities Region Deal investment project and will serve as the key research hub for the Institute, providing modern office and laboratory accommodation for agriculture management and crop research. The project aims to bring £60m benefit and over 1200 jobs to Scotland.
