Trinity House - BREEAM Outstanding
Trinity House has achieved BREEAM Outstanding, reflecting the commitment to sustainability by the team.
The life sciences project for Breakthrough Properties provides flexible Cat A laboratory and write up/office accommodation based across six floors with amenities for building users including a café, gym and end of trip facilities as well as outdoor amenity space.
Consideration has been given to reducing the environmental impact and resource use across the full building lifecycle from the construction process, in-use phase through to the building’s end of life, achieving:
The team set ambitious environmental targets for sustainability, energy efficiency, and for the wellbeing of occupants, maximising the credit score in every BREEAM category to achieve an Outstanding rating with a final score of 89.7%.
BREEAM Outstanding is the highest assessment rating under the BREEAM scheme, and a considerable achievement for the project and for the team.
