KJ Tait have been appointed to carry out the engineering services design for the refurbishment of the Invercauld Hotel in Braemar in the Scottish Highlands.
The project includes the addition of a new leisure centre. The original hotel building is listed and comprehensive opening up works have been carried out to determine all main service runs, all of which are concealed either below floors, in wall voids or above solid ceilings.
This opening up exercise has enabled us to agree the routing of the new services.
