RIAS Award 2026

KJ Tait are delighted to have been involved in 2 RIAS award winning buildings:

- Tarlair Outdoor Pool Pavilion, Macduff

Studio Octopi’s sensitive restoration of a 1931 Art Deco pool complex has won a 2026 RIAS Award while Friends of Tarlair Community Group received the RIAS Gilmour & Aitken Client of the Year Award.

- Usher Building, University of Edinburgh

The Usher Building is a population health research and innovation hub for the University of Edinburgh, sitting within the major development that is south-west Edinburgh’s BioQuarter.

These buildings were included in RIAS Scotland’s 10 best buildings awards 2026.
