BREEAM

We have in-house BREEAM Assessors and Engineers with BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) status. We provide BREEAM Assessments in all sectors as well as BREEAM Pre-Assessments and BREEAM Planning Assessments.

The BREEAM Assessments complement our design expertise in low energy design and guidance on environmental and wellbeing initiatives and can become a mechanism to set company environmental standards.

Our BREEAM Assessors provide specialist advice on building projects from inception and closely monitor progress throughout the design stage to post construction.

We work closely with the Design Team, Client and Contractor to help achieve the required rating. Close collaboration and key workshops help to achieve this goal. Such an approach has helped us and our Clients achieve BREEAM awards, BREEAM Excellent rated buildings and BREEAM Outstanding rated buildings throughout the UK.

BREEAM In-Use is an international assessment methodology for independent third-party certification of an existing building’s performance. It is voluntary for all  buildings whether BREEAM certified or not.

BREEAM In-Use allows developers, owners, occupiers and managers to assess the environmental performance of their building and improve the sustainability via efficiencies in operations, management and initiatives.

We can provide licensed Accredited Professional BREEAM Assessors for the following schemes:

  • BREEAM Pre-Assessments
  • BREEAM Planning Assessments
  • BREEAM Accredited Professional Services (Client side)
  • BREEAM Assessor Services for:
    • Bespoke/other buildings
    • Court buildings
    • Ecohomes
    • Education: pre-schools, schools, further education, higher education
    • Multi-residential

    • Industrial
    • Retail
    • New construction
    • Refurbishment
    • Fit-out
    • International
  • Assessments to identify likely credit ratings of schemes at project briefing stage
  • BREEAM In-Use Assessments.

Our BREEAM Assessors are an integral part of our in-house Energy and Sustainability Team and provide project design input on environmental issues.

BREEAM ratings are increasingly being specified by Local Authorities as a planning requirement with a number of Authorities stipulating an Outstanding rating must be achieved.

We can provide early advise to Clients and Project Teams on how the required BREEAM rating can be achieved and can put plans in place to realise this.

Clients should be aware that there are additional costs if BREEAM Excellent or Outstanding are to be targeted.
