KJ Tait work in all areas of the residential sector including new housing developments and apartment blocks, affordable housing, student residences, private residences and nursing homes.
Our role
Our role in residential projects has increased in recent years due to the emphasis on the need to deliver low or zero carbon housing. We provide advice to our Clients and are involved in residential refurbishment projects to ensure these can achieve at least a new EPC C rating. This is a minimum requirement to enable residential properties to be sold or rented in England after 2025.
Our role ranges from detailed design to outline design in support of planning energy compliance and building warrant compliance, and for Design & Build procurement contracts.
