KJ Tait

Location: London (Flexible Working Available)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join KJ Tait’s
Engineering Design team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer
with a strong technical background in building services design, mechanical systems and
multidisciplinary project delivery.

The successful candidate will support the wider Engineering Design team by providing
mechanical engineering designs, resolving technical engineering challenges, coordinating
design input and communicating clearly with clients, contractors, architects, manufacturers
and internal project teams. On smaller projects, there will also be opportunities to act as Lead
Engineer, supporting coordination, resource allocation and project management.

KJ Tait provides integrated Engineering Design, Facilities Management and Energy Services,
with specialist expertise including BREEAM, NABERS, TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections
and WiredScore Assessments. Our approach focuses on delivering low-energy, high-quality
projects and closing the performance gap between design intent and real-world building
performance.
