This project involved a Victorian Vinery and attached Gardeners Bothy which had fallen into disrepair.
The works comprised new roof, insulation, windows, new Vinery (Glasshouse) glazing and all new services installations. The new facility is heated by air source heat pumps connected to radiators and underfloor heating, and includes heat recovery ventilation and solar hot water.
The finished project will be a community facility primarily aimed at both wellbeing and education services. The aim is to grow produce in the Vinery and attached gardens and prepare and sell goods in the new Café.
