Neil Watt

Neil is a Director of KJ Tait with broad experience across the construction sector. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, he joined the business in 2008 and has been active in London since 2014, where he works on a wide range of complex projects.

His experience includes redevelopment and refurbishment within constrained urban environments, alongside the delivery of large commercial office developments in London. In addition, he has worked across education, leisure, hotel and heritage projects, bringing a balanced understanding of new build and existing asset refurbishment.

Appointed Director in 2020, he provides clear leadership on project delivery and takes full ownership of his commissions. He is responsible for coordinating design teams, maintaining programme and cost control, and ensuring that project objectives are met through all stages of delivery.

His approach is defined by attention to detail, strong client engagement and a practical understanding of how engineering design supports commercial and operational outcomes. This enables consistent delivery on complex projects where programme certainty and quality are critical.
