Malcolm Tait

A Chartered Engineer, Malcolm is a Director of KJ Tait with more than 37 years’ experience in the construction industry and over 27 years in a senior leadership role within the business. His experience spans all areas of the construction sector, with a strong focus on science, research, residential and office projects. He is widely regarded for his ability to lead complex commissions, particularly those involving redevelopment, refurbishment and challenging urban environments, including office to laboratory conversions.

As a Director, he is responsible for ensuring KJ Tait delivers a consistently high level of service. This includes leading the development of the client brief, overseeing engineering services input and guiding the delivery of low energy and sustainable design solutions. He maintains responsibility for compliance with programme, cost, quality and energy efficiency objectives.
