Stuart Moore

Stuart is a Director of KJ Tait with over 25 years’ experience in building services engineering. He joined the business in 2008 following ten years working within the M&E contracting sector and was appointed Director in 2024. He is based in Glasgow and is involved in projects throughout the UK.

His experience includes extensive design and management responsibility across commercial and education projects, as well as major refurbishment and new build schemes in other sectors. This background provides a strong understanding of both consultancy and construction delivery, supporting practical and coordinated engineering solutions.

As a Director, he is responsible for the management of electrical services on major projects from concept design through to completion. This includes detailed design and specification, coordination with the wider design team, and liaison with clients and contractors to ensure programme, quality and delivery objectives are achieved.

He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an Honours Degree in Product Design Engineering and later achieved a first‑class Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University. He is recognised as a strong team leader with a detailed technical knowledge base and a consistent ability to deliver robust electrical design solutions on complex projects.
