Richard Lytle

A Building Services Engineer, Richard is a Director of KJ Tait with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. He joined the business in 1998 following graduation in 1997 and completed a Master’s Degree in Building Services with Management in 2004.

His career spans a wide range of building services commissions, providing a strong technical foundation combined with a clear understanding of operational and management requirements. This experience supports a practical and reliable approach to project delivery across occupied and operational environments.

Appointed Director in 2021, he is responsible for the oversight of all Facilities Management commissions within KJ Tait. This role includes strategic management of service delivery, coordination of resources and ensuring consistent quality across long term and repeat commissions.

As Director, he takes responsibility for the management and delivery of projects, providing clear leadership and accountability throughout. His approach is focused on delivering dependable outcomes that meet client requirements and support the effective operation of buildings over their lifecycle.
