A Chartered Engineer, Bryce is a Director of KJ Tait with wide ranging experience in the design and delivery of engineering services across all sectors of the construction industry. He joined the business following graduation from Heriot Watt University in 1998 and was appointed Director in 2010. He is now based in Cambridge and works on complex projects across the UK.
He has particular expertise in laboratory and research buildings and has successfully led the delivery of some of the most technically demanding projects in the sector. Notable experience includes responsibility for the New Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, a major research facility delivered to exacting performance, safety and reliability standards.
As a Director, he takes full ownership of project and framework delivery, with responsibility for the management and performance of the KJ Tait service. He ensures client requirements are clearly understood and translated into reliable, efficient and cost effective design solutions. His role includes oversight of team performance, project resourcing and delivery against programme and quality objectives.
He maintains close working relationships with clients and project teams and has undertaken lead engineer, project director, project management and contract administration roles on complex engineering projects. This breadth of experience supports consistent delivery on technically challenging developments where clarity, coordination and accountability are critical.
