KJ Tait have been privileged to provide Building Services and Sustainability advise for over 25 years and have been a preferred Consultant of abrdn throughout this period.
KJ Tait Facilities department provide dedicated maintenance, engineering and sustainability advice for approximately 70 properties throughout the UK. Our role includes undertaking routine audits across these properties, which aim to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and maintaining comfort conditions for all building users. We also work closely with the MEP Maintenance Contractors, which includes contract procurement, review of all quotations and technical proposals as well as holding regular meeting with the contractors to review performance and discuss improvement opportunities.
KJ Tait also provide an MEP design service for all major projects undertaken across the portfolio. This can range from specialist sustainability projects to large commercial developments. Our Engineering Team also provide technical advice for all Licence to Alter applications and provide approval for any proposed Tenant alterations within their demised area.
Our Energy Team provide a comprehensive service across our managed portfolio. This service includes establishing energy targets across all properties and identifying recommendations and initiatives for meeting these targets. Our Energy Team are also advising abrdn on their Roadmap and implementation of their Net Zero Strategy.
