This is a new build city centre development for Gloucester City Council over 3 storeys.  The ground floor includes parking, plant space and a pharmacy.

At first floor level there are two GP surgeries and two occupational health clinics.  The second floor provides office space for Gloucester City Council.

The GP surgeries are independent with shared access, a shared minor procedures suite and a shared staff area.

Thermal modelling was carried out to determine a low energy design which avoided overheating and minimised energy consumption. Air source heat pumps and mechanical ventilation was provided in areas where open windows could not be used due to background noise levels. Heat recovery was adopted in all ventilation systems.

Extensive PV cells were installed to occupy all available roof space.

The design was in accordance with GCC Energy Guidelines.
