MAPP provide specific expertise in the management of commercial offices, retail and science parks with a diverse global client base. KJ Tait have supported MAPP for over 10 years and entered into a National Framework Agreement in 2020.
KJ Tait Facilities provide specialist MEP support to MAPP across a portfolio of over 100 properties. Our services range from day to day technical support across the Estate to the development of strategic policies such as Net Zero Carbon Roadmaps and Business Focused Maintenance Strategies. In partnership with MAPP, we have developed new Air & Water Quality Procedures as well as providing expert advice in improving ventilation systems in light of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Our Energy Team also works in close partnership with the MAPP Sustainability Department, where we provide technical support for Energy Audits, EPCs and support to Clients on their Net Zero Pathway. Our role also involves advising on the operational control of Building Management Systems. Our dedicated Controls Experts undertake regular audits of these systems to ensure operational efficiencies are maintained and excess waste reduced.
Our Facilities Team provide Life Cycle Costing advice and provide condition reports on all MEP systems along with budget costs for capital replacements over a 5 or 10 year period. These reports identify opportunities to introduce low or zero carbon technologies, which will assist in improving each property’s long term operational efficiency.
