Established in 1970, King’s Head Theatre was the oldest pub Theatres in London.  For 53 years it was housed in the back room of the King’s Head Pub on Upper Street in Islington, West London in an old boxing ring and pool hall, becoming the UK's oldest pub Theatre.

This project involved the refurbishment of Gallery 3. The gallery has a grand three-domed rooflight but suffered from infiltration leading to extremes of hot and cold in peak season.
