Arts & Community – Thoughts
As with a lot of our Clients’ buildings, Arts and Community buildings have high running costs and are needing to carry out works to reduce these.
Most of these buildings operate as single zones and a simple control modification to limit heating and power consumption in unoccupied areas can significantly reduce costs.
Grant ready proposals are also an area where we can support Clients. We have carried out several energy audits of theatres and there is a clear need for the main areas to be isolated and either unheated or background heated when there are no performances.
For all these Clients, adding PV panels is now a good cost-effective option.
