A new Visitor and Events Facilities project at the Grade I listed Holkham Hall has regenerated the heart of the Estate by reorganising and reworking several existing buildings to produce significantly enhanced visitor facilities including an enlarged restaurant, museum and shop, and staff accommodation.
The old Potteries building has been restored and extended to either side, to create a flexible new space that can host many types of events, including conferences, dinners, presentations and weddings.
We worked closely with the Client, Contractor and the Design Team to completely integrate the new facilities into the historic fabric of the existing buildings.
The project won a prestigious RIBA East Award as well as the RIBA East Conservation Award.
