Suttie Centre

The Suttie Centre is a major capital project that was jointly sponsored by the University of Aberdeen and NHS Grampian.

The project represents a new concept of providing a teaching and learning environment for all those involved in education in the health sector and combines under one roof all of the undergraduate medical teaching, clinical skills, learning and development training, and IT training. This new £14m facility is located at the Foresterhill Medical Campus in Central Aberdeen, and the five-storey 60,000 ft² building contains a new Department of Anatomy, Clinical Skills teaching facilities, IT suites, lecture theatres and social spaces. The building’s energy consumption is significantly below the S-Labs benchmark for a building of this type.
