KJ Tait Engineers are engaged as Energy Consultants by GSK at Stevenage & Ware, GSK’s principal scientific research campus in the UK.

Each Campus comprises over 1m ft2 of laboratory space and our audits and initiatives are focused on the ventilation and hydronic functions.

A typical project comprises a week-long Kaizen, which is a preliminary survey of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems within a specific building.  The output of the Kaizen produces a number of promising initiatives which will deliver energy savings within a short to medium term.  These initiatives are then carried forward to feasibility, then detailed design and implementation.
