Alistair Black

BEng (Hons) CEng MCIBSE

Alistair joined KJ Tait Engineers in 1988 and became a Director in 1995. Alistair works from our Glasgow office and has been responsible for the delivery of several major projects within the practice.

He has extensive experience across a wide range of prestigious developments and sectors, including BP’s new North Sea Headquarters building and the University of Strathclyde’s Technology Innovation Centre.

Alistair recently led the delivery of significant commercial office fit-out projects for legal and financial sector clients including Barclays, BlackRock, Maclay Murray Spens and McGrigors. Alistair is also the principal contact for several of the practice’s framework contracts, including South Lanarkshire Council and the University of Glasgow.
