ADC Theatre

Cambridge

The smallest department of the University of Cambridge, the famous ADC Theatre is a producing house with Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club as its resident company. The Theatre is Britain’s oldest University playhouse with plays having been presented on the site since 1855.

The ambitious redevelopment programme involved replacing the ventilation system to the 228-seat auditorium to address overheating issues.  Further work included the installation of two new lighting bridges to the auditorium, repairs to the roof and ceiling and some cosmetic improvements.
