Princes Mall

Edinburgh

In a prime location adjacent to Waverley Railway Station at the east end of Edinburgh’s Princes Street, the mall has 60 shop units that include a range of mainly fashion-based retailers, regional and independent outlets to present an eclectic range.  Previously known as Waverley Market, the Centre, was completely upgraded, extensively remodelled and re-branded as Princes Mall in 1996, with KJ Tait Engineers providing full MEP design services.

A salient part of this redevelopment was the collection of bespoke luminaires that were custom designed by KJ Tait Engineers.  We were subsequently commissioned as part of the design team further and more comprehensive redevelopment in 2007.  This involved the wholesale relocation of major central plant and major extensions to shop units.
