In 2013 KJ Tait Facilities was appointed by London Borough of Newham Council to provide facilities management services for their municipal sites. These include town halls, libraries, leisure centres, as well as Building 2000, the Council’s Headquarters at Newham Dockside, Royal Albert Dock, overlooking London City Airport.
This ongoing commission includes undertaking routine compliance audits to ensure all sites are in accordance with current legislative requirements relating to their MEP installations. In addition to these audits we also provide ongoing monitoring of the MEP maintenance contracts and carry out a review of the service providers currently in place.
KJ Tait Facilities also provides design and management services for various project works, including the replacement of air-conditioning plant and lighting upgrades. Our role also covers the provision of ad hoc consultancy advice on contract and technical MEP matters to the client on an ongoing basis.
