Inovo

Glasgow

Inovo is a low-carbon-emissions Grade A office building, and Glasgow’s first to deliver an EPC rating of A along with BREEAM Excellent. Sustainable building techniques that assist in reducing emissions and energy costs include daylight- and movement-sensitive lighting, LED lighting and a heat-recovery air-source heat-pump-based VRF air-conditioning system.

The building, located in Glasgow’s International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone and developed by Scottish Enterprise, is designed to accommodate and encourage collaboration between public, private and academic partners focussed on maximising opportunities within the renewable energy industry.

In addition to full MEP engineering services design for the building, KJ Tait Engineers has also provided fit-out design services for the renewable-energy specialist company, ORE Capital.
