Designed by KJ Tait Engineers, the fit-out engineering services include energy-efficient plant and controls, heat recovery and variable refrigerant volume/flow systems.
A BREEAM Excellent rating was achieved at Design Stage.
In addition to undertaking the BREEAM Fit-Out assessment for the project, the opportunity was taken to participate in the BREEAM 2014 Fit-Out pilot scheme with the Building Research Establishment. This involvement with the pilot scheme helped to influence the forthcoming BREAM 2014 schemes, due to be rolled out in early 2014.
The Design Team worked closely with the Client to design a flexible and efficient space culminating in an inspirational workplace with fantastic views over the city.
This fit-out utilised energy efficient features such as energy efficient design and control, plus heat recovery from the variable refrigerant volume/flow systems.
