Edinburgh Academy

KJ Tait Engineers was appointed by Edinburgh Academy for the MEP engineering services designs for new buildings for the Science Department and the Performing Arts Department.

The James Clerk Maxwell Science Centre includes science classrooms, a 140-seat lecture theatre, associated rooms and reception areas, providing an excellent venue for talks and conferences.

The Magnusson Centre for the Performing Arts provides a modern, fully-equipped theatre with retractable, tiered seating for Fringe performances, lectures and other events.

Both buildings are located within the Grade II listed school campus in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh.
